About me
Greetings, I'm Craig and I am a fully qualified Government Approved Driving Instructor (ADI). I am genuinely passionate about promoting road safety and helping individuals acquire the skills and knowledge to become safe and confident drivers. I can provide driving lessons in the Huddersfield, Skelmanthorpe, South Kirklees, Penistone and Ingbirchworth areas.
A South Yorkshire native, I have dedicated the past 25 years of my working life to the Huddersfield area and have proudly called Skelmanthorpe my home for the past decade, where I reside with my 12-year-old daughter, Amelie.
Prior to embarking on my journey as a Driving Instructor, I dedicated a fulfilling 25 years to the field of Primary Education, culminating in my role as an Assistant Headteacher at a Primary School in Huddersfield. This educational background has equipped me with invaluable communication and teaching skills that I now bring to my role as a driving instructor, making me a patient and effective educator.
The decision to transition into this field was driven by my desire for a deeply fulfilling career. Few things are more satisfying than witnessing someone pass their driving test, especially on their first attempt. Friends and colleagues have often described me as a calm and composed individual, qualities they believed would make me an exceptional Driving Instructor which encouraged me to pursue a career as a Driving Instructor.
I am privileged to be training with LDC, utilizing the latest adult coaching and training technique. This ensures that the instruction I offer meets the highest standards. I chose to work with LDC because everybody is unique, and the LD System allows for flexibility in lessons so that you learn to drive safely at a rate that suits you. I aim to make every lesson enjoyable and as productive as possible. The LD System just helps me to do this more effectively.
Rest assured that all lessons are conducted in a calm, friendly and relaxed manner. I passionately believe that creating a comfortable and stress-free learning environment is essential to helping pupils thrive during their lessons.
